Known to heal Native American wounds back in the 1700's, the chilly 68 degree water of Barton Springs is refreshing on a hot summer day. Of course this summer day was overcast and cool, but we wanted to share the goose-bump experience with our niece/cousin.
After the initial plunge, the spring is quite enjoyable...crystal clear, pure, and clean. An average of 27 million gallons of water a day are pumped by the main spring. The kids loved it!
